Raised in a house where music was the first language, Heather started piano at 7 and went on to play clarinet, bass clarinet, church bells, choir, marching band, and color guard. Long before she was behind the decks, she was already learning how sound, timing, movement, and energy shape a room.
That instinct now guides every heatHER.NULL set.
Her background in social media, trend culture, branding, and digital marketing gives her a different ear than the traditional DJ. As the founder of Heather Cox Codes, a digital marketing and web design consultancy with nearly 20 years in business, she understands how people connect with music through culture, content, memories, and moments. She knows what people are hearing in their feeds, what is moving through the algorithm, and how to translate that into a real-life experience.
Her signature concept, Trendsetters, is built from music currently moving through TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and digital culture. It is not about chasing trends. It is about understanding what people are already connecting with and reshaping it into a curated set that feels fresh, relevant, and alive.
She is also the founder of FOMO, a woman-owned underground event brand based in Delaware, built around secret locations, curated crowds, and unexpected dance floors. Through FOMO, she continues to develop a sound rooted in community, atmosphere, discovery, and high-energy music experiences.
